Biochemistry.
Biochemistry is Emily’s area of expertise. She received her PhD in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University in 2018. A foundation in biochemistry can help one understand metabolism. Metabolism is the process your body uses to get energy from the food you eat. We think metabolic abnormalities are important clues about where nutritional support is required.
Genetics.
Having certain genetic variants makes it easier to become nutritional deficient. Genetic data allows for precise nutrition, which means it eliminates vast amounts of guesswork about the root cause of your symptoms. Whole genome sequencing is our recommended way to find the root cause in a complex case. Genetic information can be extremely powerful for helping someone know best what to eat and how to support their body.
